I'm still struggling, but I'm feeling more positive. I'm seeing a future for myself, which I couldn't for the longest time. I'm excited about school, even though I'll be starting what should be my junior year of college and feeling like a freshman. I have new passions, and I've met amazing new people.

Carolina House has saved my life. I hope to stay in recovery here as long as possible, but even now I can be thankful for what they've done for me. Sammy Banawan is a lifesaver and probably the most amazing man I have ever encountered.

I have life ahead of me. Who would have ever guessed?

aww wow! you're way too awesome. When I get a job, expect to get fun stuff in the mail from me, girl. rehab kind of keeps a girl from being able to spend money =(

I bought stamps at the post office and fucking lost them D: D: D: D: D: after I made a note of "Put these in your wallet, in your purse, so you don't lose them."

I'm buying more when I mail off your box and asking the postal clerk to staple them to my forehead.

Ben is also going to try to grab some nice hookahs while he's out there. I told him to keep an eye out for something smallish for you (portable/one or two person smallish) since they have a lot of nice designs out there he said.

I AM GOING TO BE IN SC IN JULY fyi :) Won't have a car (flying out to see family, rentals are to expensive unfortunately). BUT you are welcome to come visit/meet Ben/Mia/family/some other friends of mine if you are able to come down. My friends Jon and Dan are coming down from NC if you'd be interested in carpooling part way haha. Fuck gas prices.

I will try very very hard! It will all depend on the job situation. If I have one, I will definitely come. I'm all about finally meeting you in person =) if I can't manage to find one by then, though, I'll still be using my mom for gas money, and there's no way she'll pay for me to take a road trip.
